What is going on with Paladin
As of September 2007 Paladin Medical
Transport is a designated EMSAT site. This is a monthly Satellite broadcast of
training from the office of EMS. Categories one and two CE hours are offered to
any EMS personnel who wish to attend!
On
January 25, 2007 Alan Haddaway Sr. Operations Manager of Paladin was arrested
and taken to Charlie’s restaurant as a fundraiser for the MDA. Thanks to
everyone contacted he raised $408.00 far short of the $3,000.00 bail. However
after about 3 hours the MDA team was glad to get rid of him!
Unit 2, the flagship of Paladin is now on the road as an ACLS unit.
Equipped with Welch Allyn Patient monitor, 12 lead Zoll Bi-phase Defibrillator,
Abbott Plum XL IV pump, and an Impact 754 Eagle Vent.
In July of 2007 we were added to Logisticare as a provider. This
has been a long wait and will hopefully advance us as an up and coming
business.
December 2007: Paladin Contracted with Appomattox Rescue Squad to
supply labor to help offset the shortage of personnel during their day shift.
This should greatly enhance Appomattox as well as Paladin to better help the
public in a continuing effort for better medial services to the region.
